What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They help the site remember things, like keeping you logged in, and help site owners understand how their site is used. This policy explains how Wedding Professional's Blueprint uses cookies and similar technologies on wedproblueprint.com and our course platform at wedproblueprint.learnworlds.com.

Cookies on wedproblueprint.com

Our main website is hosted by Webflow and doesn't use advertising cookies. It does use Google Analytics, which sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to count visits and show us, in aggregate, which pages people read, how long they stay and how they found us. That's how we figure out what's helpful and what to improve. These cookies last up to two years, and Google handles the information under its own privacy policy.

We also use Optibase to test different versions of some pages. It saves a small cookie or similar browser storage that remembers which version you were shown, so the page stays the same each time you visit, and it records clicks and scrolling so we can see how a page is working. Optibase handles that information under its own privacy policy.

You can stop Google Analytics from counting your visits by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser. If we add any other non-essential cookies, we'll update this policy first.

Cookies on our course platform

Our course platform, wedproblueprint.learnworlds.com, runs on LearnWorlds and uses cookies to make your account and courses work. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you choose which kinds of optional cookies to allow.

Strictly necessary cookies keep you logged in, keep your session secure and remember your cookie choices. These include cookies such as XSRF-TOKEN, slim_session and DPSettings, and the site can't work properly without them.

Functional and analytics cookies remember your preferences and help us see how students use the platform, so we can improve it. They're only set if you allow them.

Referral cookies, such as the affiliate cookie, record when you arrive through a partner's link so we can credit that partner.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies come from services built into our course platform: Stripe sets cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud, Vimeo sets cookies when you play course videos, and Cloudflare sets cookies to protect the site from attacks. These companies' own privacy policies explain how they use that information.

Managing cookies

You can change your choices on the course platform through its cookie banner or settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers explain how in their help section. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the course platform, like logging in, won't work.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy if the cookies we use change, and we'll change the date at the top of this page when we do.
